Integrated Services for Businesses – General Contractor
Prana is able to support the Client throughout the entire construction process by adopting innovative contractual models that allow the Client to oversee the entire procurement and contract management process. The company assumes contractual responsibility by providing guarantees to the Client in terms of cost control, timelines, and quality of execution. Prana can also manage contracts as an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contractor, providing performance guarantees where required.
Renovation of Civil, Industrial, and Agricultural Buildings
The recovery of the existing building stock, renovation, and conservative restoration of buildings are essential steps to adapt existing structures to new business needs, avoiding further land consumption and the resulting cost impact. Prana has always placed the utmost importance on analyzing buildings in their current condition, proposing the best technical and economic solutions for their redevelopment. Particular attention is dedicated to the livestock sector, considered today a “historic” economic activity that requires significant technological upgrading.
Manufacture and Installation of Light and Heavy Metal Carpentry Structures
Prana is a specialized company in the construction of metal carpentry works and structures, capable of manufacturing and installing steel structures and related components. The company builds and installs various types of structures such as mezzanines, foundations, safety staircases, trusses, roofing, frames, gates, railings, and security grilles. Prana operates in compliance with CE-1090 standards and performs certified and qualified welding in accordance with EN ISO 15614-1, UNI EN 287-1/2012, and ISO 3834 standards. Special attention is also given to the construction of furnishing components such as interior staircases, corten steel and stainless steel works, and, more generally, the production of custom-made items upon Client request.
Electrical and Mechanical Systems Installation
Prana designs and installs electrical systems typical of civil and industrial construction, such as MV/LV transformation systems, distribution lines, lighting systems, CCTV, signal transmission, and alarm systems. The company also installs heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and plumbing systems, including thermal and cooling plants, air handling units, and radiant floor systems. Particular attention is paid to energy-saving solutions, such as the installation of inverters, solar panels, heat pumps, and LED lighting.
Renewable Energy Production Systems
Prana designs and builds installations capable of meeting the requirements needed to access incentives and financing provided by current regulations for private individuals, companies, and public entities that choose to produce energy through photovoltaic, solar thermal, geothermal, or biomass systems. The company manages all required procedures and authorization processes on behalf of the Client, from project studies to the submission of applications to the relevant authorities, as well as the procedures necessary for connection to the distribution grid.
Real Estate Development
Particular attention is devoted to real estate development opportunities. Through recovery and conservative restoration operations, as well as building and urban redevelopment, Prana acts as a developer capable of acquiring a property or an ongoing project and carrying out the necessary design and redevelopment works, subsequently selling the renovated property or the individual residential units resulting from its subdivision during the renovation phase. These activities are carried out independently—also through its subsidiary Como Lago S.r.l. for development in the Lake Como area—or in partnership with other proposing entities. One of the keys to Prana’s success lies in its ability to continuously embrace changes in the sector, transforming them into opportunities.
